How Long Will It Take for Someone to Get Back to Me?

Short answer: Most inquiries receive a response the same business day or by the next business day. Phone calls during office hours are typically answered immediately or returned the same day. Urgent matters are prioritized, so if your situation is time-sensitive, say so when you reach out.

Here is what to expect based on how and when you reach out:

Phone Calls During Business Hours

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Call (413) 781-8700.

  • Most calls are answered live by a real team member, not a phone tree
  • If we are with another client, we will call you back the same business day
  • Typical callback time: 1-3 hours
  • Spanish-speaking team members are available

Phone Calls After Hours

If you call outside business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays:

  • Leave a voicemail with your name, phone number, and a brief description of your situation
  • You will receive a callback on the next business day, typically in the morning
  • Urgent voicemails are prioritized

  • During business hours: Typically answered within a few hours
  • After hours: Response by the next business morning
  • Include your phone number if you prefer a call-back instead of a written reply

Website Contact Forms

Submissions through the website contact form follow the same timeline as email. Expect a response from a team member within one business day, often much sooner during business hours.

After-Hours Live Chat

If you use the live chat feature on the knowledge base, we will do our best to respond during business hours. Off-hours chats are logged and answered the next morning.

When We Prioritize Faster Response

Some situations need faster attention than others. We move quickly on:

  • Accidents that just happened. The first 72 hours after a crash are critical for preserving evidence and documenting injuries. If your accident was within the last few days, say so and we will reach out as soon as possible.
  • Insurance company pressure. If an adjuster is pushing you for a recorded statement, a quick signature, or a fast settlement, we prioritize your case. Do not agree to anything until we have talked.
  • Looming statute of limitations. Massachusetts gives you three years to file a personal injury claim, but some related deadlines (like the 5-day requirement to file a Motor Vehicle Crash Operator Report with the RMV) come up much faster.
  • Ongoing medical concerns. If you are currently being treated for accident injuries and have questions about coverage or billing, we prioritize getting you answers.
  • Commercial vehicle or truck accidents. Evidence from these cases can disappear quickly (electronic logs, driver records, dashcam footage). Fast response matters.

What If I Need to Reach You RIGHT NOW?

For genuine emergencies during an accident (injuries, vehicle blocking traffic, drunk driver, hit and run), call 911 first. We cannot replace emergency services.

After you are safe and the scene is handled, call us at (413) 781-8700. If we are not available, leave a voicemail noting the urgency. Our office routinely monitors voicemail and flags time-sensitive calls.

What If You Prefer a Specific Time for a Call Back?

If you have work, childcare, or other obligations that limit when you can talk, let us know:

  • Include your preferred call-back window in your voicemail, email, or chat
  • Specify your time zone if different from Eastern Time
  • Tell us if a particular day does not work
  • Let us know if you prefer email, text, or phone for follow-up

We will do our best to accommodate your schedule. Many of our Springfield-area clients work during business hours, so we often schedule calls for lunch breaks, end-of-day, or early morning.

What If I Have Not Heard Back?

If you have not heard from us within one business day of reaching out:

  1. Check your spam folder. Email responses can sometimes be filtered, especially on Gmail and Outlook.

  3. Confirm the correct contact details. Occasionally a typo in a phone number or email address prevents us from reaching you. A quick call clears it up.

We do not intentionally leave anyone waiting. If the time has passed and you have not heard back, please reach out again. Something may have slipped through.
